Rising Stars Mission Statement
The Rising Stars Program will offer rising kindergartners of Caldwell County an opportunity to experience a developmentally appropriate readiness program to ensure a smooth transition into school.

The vision for Caldwell County Schools Rising Stars Program is to provide a positive experience for children entering public school, which will create a lifelong love for learning and build character.

- Held at your child’s homeschool
- Is taught by licensed teachers with an instructional assistant
- Class size is limited to 12-15 students: allowing for a more personal staff/student interaction
Students will gain understanding with:
· Following directions
· Social/Emotional skills
· Positive peer interaction
· Learning independence while decreasing separation anxiety
· Early academics (letters/counting, etc.)
· Gaining a love of learning
